| Personal History | Matevos grew up on Colony Atrox, and spent his time planet side until he decided that he wanted to enlisted in Starfleet Medical. He had always been interested in being a nurse, as he wanted a more hands on approach to his patients. He excelled through school and took his cadet cruise without much mishaps. After his cadet cruise, he was assigned to the USS Mississippi and stayed there until he transferred to the USS Glensheen. He enjoyed his time here until he was reassigned to the USS Princeton. The Princeton was one of the many ships that were destroyed during the Battle of Wolf 359. The Ahwahnee picked him up out of the escape pods with the other medical officers to help with the trauma unit that was set up in the disabled ship's cargo bay. This is where he met his future wife Felicie Saro, a Trill from the Bonestell. They had worked well and without much communication allowing the triaging to go that much faster. When the relief ships arrived for the survivors of the battle, they had gotten split up by the rescuing ships. He ended up crossing paths with her again on his next assignment, the Venture. He just seemingly clicked working with her, and went to their chief to ask her out to ensure that there was no impropriety going on. Their courtship was quick, and after a year of dating, they got married on the Venture. They remained on the Venture until they were transferred to the Phoenix and then to the Ermiana. |
